Not on the 2007 S sedan I bought for my wife (now my daughter's.) Only gauges on the three (that one and 2009 x 2) are speedometer, odometer/tripmeter and tachometer. And the infamous 8 bar gas gauge, of course.

The Kia Rio (a real crap econobox) has heated mirrors as standard here. Heated mirrors are great in wet weather and foggy conditions as the heat keeps your mirrors clear.

I wish the Yaris had the option of heated mirrors, ESC, Cruise Control, Climate Control, Diesel (Not available in Aus)....... the list goes on.

As Mad Dog has said, they are available in Australia. Many of you guys forget that our econo box Yaris here in North America is an almost mid level car for the European market whom loves smaller cars with more utility (4door hatch).

So it is perfectly fine for the OP who is from Malta to expect heated mirrors and other amenities which we think are more suited for upper level cars.

^couldn't have said it any better.

it's a worse case (or better depending on the way you look at it) with southeast asian countries. you should see their vios and corollas over there and what they go for in US dollars.

but now i'm just adding to the fire.

to the op: yes the yaris is likely available with heated mirrors in other markets. i'm not sure about malta, but you're sure to find them available as a packaged extra in the aussie market like some others have said.

Yaris has heated mirrors in other markets. the manual in US says 'if so equipped, defog also defogs mirrors'

about if it is needed or not...YES. My 4runner has them and I use them daily from october to april and yes they will melt ice, and take dew off the glass in 1 minute. it is not laziness it is a fact of living in a 4 season climate the mirrors will get dew coated every morning.

Interested in seeing what is involved and what it would cost to retrofit my Yaris with heated mirrors.

I saw a Mercedes with this feature at the bank the other day. It looked to be slaved to the ignition. Turn the key off mirrors fold in. Turn the key on mirrors fold out.
Electrically heated automatic folding mirrors. Someones going to see you driving a car with that and rob you. Maybe blow you away first!

There are some inexpensive kits where you stick the defroster to the back of the existing mirrors and then wire it in.

A little surprised that no one has mentioned this before. my 2009 sedan came with the cold weather package and heated mirrors are part of it. Also bigger battery and vents into the rear seats.

Ooops. Guess the reason no one mentioned it, is that it doesn't exist. Faulty memory on my part. guess I got excited by seeing it in the manual. Checked my window sheet when I got home and it wasn't there

yeah the US manual states a lot of [*if equipped] stuff that doesn't
make it to all models.

on my 4runner, when it was new, I said hey neat, heated mirrors

then over 11 years forgot how much I totally rely on those things to clear
up in 3 minutes after a button press. ice or dew or anything.

I am going to mcgyver a heater into my mirrors someday....12v switch
should be fairly easy. I want to get a wrecked Yaris mirrors to experiment on

The 09 brochure says the mirrors for the Canadian rs model are heated, however I don't think they are because they don't defrost nor I'd there a switch for them. A friend of mine has a matrix xr 09 with heated mirrors and there is a small heated mirror symbol on the mirror itself, wich my car lacks. I'm still confused.
