I cussed at a highly modded silver liftback one with personalized plates and bumper stickers that passed me and went recklessly weaving through traffic to get a few cars ahead last summer. Maybe someone on the board. Drove like a jerk, very dangerously.

I often cruise with the windows down and my arm on the edge, if i see a nicely modded one coming up I might give them a thumbs up and a smile :)

I would give a friendly wave. Since I purchased my new Yaris, I've been looking very hard for any LB Yarii out there!

Not many in my town... Only a few when the students come to Penn State University from other NE areas! My friend Alex is a PSU student from Philly area, who actually was an influence for me in buying a Yaris...

Mostly what I see are those damn 'Honda Fit' driving around... Ughhh

Yarii are so relatively rare here, I generally wave to other LBs when I see one.

Most of the Yaris drivers in my vicinity are middle aged women with stiff necks.
They never look around. Just stare straight ahead as if in a trance.

Nope, that's not him! This Alex is as 'Casper' as can be... hehe!

He drives a 2009 5-door meteorite metallic Yaris...

It's very rare for me to catch the attention of other Yari drivers, as much as I'd like to... Most of the time, I see the same people as MUSKOKA, middle aged women, who don't look around. Of course if I see a Yaris on the highway, I try to get in front of them or some other maneuver to try to get their attention. I really want to find a modded one and play in traffic a bit..

Hey, you guys are talking about ME! But I don't drive around with a stiff neck in a trance, and most people don't think I look middle aged! So far, I've only seen one other LB in my city of 700,000, and we did the wave at each other!

I usually try to wave at passing Yari's to get them to notice the yarisworld sticker. But rarely do they even bat an eye at me. I mostly see LB's around here.

Years ago when I had my Matrix XRS (miss that car) I approached a fella with another Matrix and tried to strike up a conversation about our cars...even told him about MatrixOwners.com. He looked at me like I had a pecker growing out of the top of my head. I haven't bothered since.

Now, it's happened the other way around to me though. I've owned a lot of cars over the years, almost all modded to some degree and people have struck up conversations about them. When I had my xB, other Scion owners waved, honked and talked to me at stoplights and gas stations. But I never initiated the conversations.

Gotta share this (concerning the xB)....best random quote from a non-Scion owner at a gas station, "That things electric ain't it? Bet it gets good gas mileage".

I've only seen 3 other Yariises in my town. One was a maroon with some kind of business sticker on the door, one was red and the other maybe Meteorite Metallic. All were LBs. I haven't noticed any sedans though. The LBs just stand out so.

And I just stare at them.

I've come to call that the 'Yaris moment' .. When I see someone with another Caribbean Blue Yaris, I usually smile and give them a wave.. But that's because I usually catch them looking at my car (even though it's pretty much stock).

Used to happen more back when I first bought her in 2006, when I was one of the first with a privately owned Yaris .. But not so much anymore!!
