I keep my CDs in a large "wallet" in the pocket behind the front passanger seat- it's easy to reach from the driver's seat and does not interfere with anything.

Also, I find MP3 CDs more convenient than messing about with wires for an external player (no AUX jack on my Yaris). I do have an FM transmitter with USB, but as the quality is close to crap, it's reserved for "emergencies" only.

1 cup holder , glad you found the rest. I don't keep more than one CD in the car anymore and that one fits in the stereo. A couple of years ago when I was refusing to buy an i-pod I had a CD storage thing that strapped onto the sun visor.

I think the Yaris has some of the most usable space of any car on the market. Our Suzuki SX4 doesn't have half the storage space/cubbies.

I can haul as much in my Yaris sedan as in the Volvo 860 Turbo I traded in for it.

i put my cd's in the glove box, or either of the upper glove box storage spaces. I'm mad that my ipod connector broke, need to go buy a new one.

You could just get a circular CD pouch:

I got one that sits comfortably under the power outlet completely out of the way
