We need to find a good way to direct everyone to the Yaris Meetup page so we can get a good head count. I have managed to get a few free items from a local company as give-aways ("Houdini AET" Autmotive Escape tools). If we can get a decent member count on the page it will make getting free stuff for future events easier.

I've been posting the link on other car related forums. Something we could do is go through the member list and PM everyone who is in the PNW. I've done it before with pretty good results, have gotten a few more members to attend who usually don't visit the forum often, but do get the PM emails.

Looks like were going to be taking both Yarii on the trip, towing our trailer with one and bringing our gas grill and some other stuff. My girlfriend is going to try and make some chili too.
What will everyone else be bringing? Oh, were probably going to secure the campground late Friday. |

We need a base spot, or a final meetup place before we head up the mountain. Ideas? I'll be coming from the Eastern side, through Yakima/Naches.

OHANAPECOSH works for a meet place before we all head up. What time should that be?
Update: For my food contribution I'll be bringing hotdogs, chili, cheese fritters and maybe rice krispie treats. |

Just a heads up, my gf got stopped at a gate and wasn't allowed through until she paid $15, this was before the campground. Not sure where the $12/camp came from, or even if she has to pay another $12 to get the campground. I'm gonna be pissed if they make me pay $15 to get the 2nd car in, as were allowed 2 cars per spot.
I don't remember that being there a few years ago. I even paid the extra fee on my tabs this year to keep the parks open. |

Entrance Fees
Found this:
Entrance Fees The entrance fee is $15 for a private, noncommercial vehicle or $5 for each visitor 16 and older entering by motorcycle, bicycle, horseback, on foot, or for individuals traveling together as a non-commercial, organized group. These fees provide the visitor with a 7-day entrance permit for Mount Rainier National Park. |
