White. White. White. There you go... 3 more votes for white!
Always looks clean even when it isn't. Never shows waxing swirls. Scratches are barely visible and easy to touch-up. With a little care, won't fade like darker colours, especially metallics. Plus, always looks new even when the car is getting older... which is seldom the case with other colours, except for solid red when it's been cared for. |

Minimizing it down to
White Pyrite Mica Darkmetallic Grey Black White - simple nice will look good with my future idea of a black bull bar, drives me crazy though that everyone has a damn white 'work' truck. Pyrite Mica- It's different, AND exclusive and dark the question I need answered is how well scratches honestly show on it. I also like the dark metallic grey but I have no idea if its a major improvement from black scratch wise etc.

My 2004 Tacoma is white and my 1998 Tacoma is green..sold my supercharged 96 it was red... That said white is the best IMO !
2004 has black bul bar and factory flares in black...I think it works well.had to special order mine as I wanted a standard cab with flares and no power windows etc...has like 45,000 on it and never a problem Last edited by annn; 11-08-2010 at 02:39 PM. |

Nice tacoma, holy crap looks like new. And yeah you HAVE to get power crap and AC now comes built in o nevery model. So I figured I'd go for the SR5 planning on keeping this forever it's why I made a big deal about the color. I believe white is the way to go, it will go well with my fog lights and white bulbed headlights.
Any last opinions I am calling the salesman at toyota today so that I get on the ball.

If you plan on keeping it forever then white is it,my green Tacoma is a sr5 fully loaded 6cyl ,sunroof, locked rear,auto,etc... as was my supercharged Tacoma and that's how I learned that the basic 2.7 4cyl 5 speed with no power just a tow package, and heavy suspension,ac Is only comfort...was the way to go.
Basic but fully ready to go ,easy to repair.it's my bug out vehicle,so you may want more comfort but look into the 2.7 I really like it over the 6...white was picked due to ease of care and keeping it's look long term. |

2.7 or 2.4 ?
That truck should be good for 250,000 or more....check out the Tacoma forums on the life of the 4cyl and no nasty belt to worry about... Hate that on my 6 cyl... |
