as an update, one of the 15's I have on hand here turned out to have a cracked cone (doh!).

Once I get a woofer on hand, I'll get a box built :)

as sort of an update.

I built up a 10" sealed box for some testing, had some scrap layin around (the birch panel was the inspiration) and figured why not.

works good, although I'm not sure how it will work under the cargo cover. I think under there, a ported box will be required to get good output... thats next :)

This box is for sale, it'll help pay for the materials for the 1st proto under the cover box =)

Found this in a mag here in canada, dont think its available in the US. Future Shop buildoff of sorts on two Yaris. Scanned it in shitty B&W maybe someone can find better pics.
Some might be interested in the possibilities laid out initially by spkrman...

The bottom right pic is something along what I had in mind.

Its relatively "easy" to do, I just need to find time to do it, or someone willing to pick up the first one =)

Wow people running 3 subs and others running 15 inchers? Big bass is still alive..lol. Sounds like a very good design. Ill go with the boxes ive always used for a hatch. I will put my dynaaudio 12 in a sealed spare tire box. I would actualy like to see one in a hatch once you have got it planned and built.

just pulled my whole system for a 'redo'. will probably knock it back to single 12 for the time being....
those of you looking for 'performance' mods on the yaris should fill the hatch with bags of concrete, drive with them for a while and then take them out.... whole new car lol.
