Dude, take out the seat. Hose it down, mix up some detergent solution and scrub that sucker and rinse, repeat. Let it air dry. Then you maintain with a nice upholstery cleaner.

I used a carpet cleaner, worked like a CHARM. Didn't even need much detergent, if at all.

Oil, goo, gum etc - Mineral spirits. Works great in carpet, too.
General dirt etc - warm water and dawn dish detergent. Use a shop vac to suck out the solution, then go over with plain water and use the vac again. Then let dry. Spray on cleaners, especially carpet cleaners, are magnets for dirt. It may look clean after you follow the directions. But the residue attracts and holds dirt. Say no to these cleaners. |

I use Resolve Carpet Cleaner. Spray it on, scrub it around, then vacuum it off, and let it dry.

Vacuum often so that small food scraps and bits of dirt easily find their way into your car. The best way to counter this natural lack of cleanliness is to vacuum often.

Meguiar's APC is good for interior cleaning. The Tuff Stuff for spot cleaning.
