if you do mostly city driving, heavy wheels will adversely affect your mileage, unless you drive with a light touch on the throttle
if you do a lot of highway, heavy wheels will likely be nicer as they'll hold your momentum, but keep in mind that your braking distances will be a bit longer 33OH has big heavy-ass 18's, but theyre great for cruising i wouldnt worry about potholes so much for the wheels sake...theyll be sturdy my personal experience is driving my car with 14" steelies and crandalls car with 17lb 17's. i noticed a huge difference in acceleration and braking (was slower to go and stop with the 17's)

Keep the dream alive, and get those mofos. You dont need ultra light wheels to drive your car to 'space boy' from Initial D. Those wheelz are as sick as bumz fucking. I would keep them the way they are. If you are looking for similar wheels, you can always get the ESM 001 wheels.

Are these your wheels? The reason I hesitated buying is because I can't tell if the face sticks out past the lip. Does it? If not, triple burn... The reason I would paint it all white is because I don't like TOO much bling. I even painted the polished stainless steel muffler body of the Tanabe Medallion Touring flat black, although I did leve the tip shiny. |

Lol Tan is exact on the specs. Youd be surprised, 175s are s drives and Yokohama makes fat ass tires so they are not THAT extreme, 165/45 on an 8 is extreme which is what I ran before.

I have ran 165/45 on an 8 as my daily, no issue other than there is a pubic hair's with of cushy rubber between you and the road. That sticky is not an end all say all Bible it is a guide for noobs. |

8 inch wide wheels are skinny. i feel like im running on ice skates with these d2's. 10 inch wide rear wheel or bust! (which will be done sunday, one got finished last night!)
I forget what size tire I have one them. 185 50 i think? |

ESM-001
I priced out the 15x8 on their website. They have two offsets for 4x100
and 15x8, a +35 offset and a +20 offset. Total was $700. If their online promo code for holiday savings of 20% applies, then 700-140= $560! What a deal. Of course, I didn't go that far but a good choice to consider. Might look something like this? |

Anything over 9 inches is acceptable. (THE PUNS, THERE ARE SO MANY)
I'm waiting on the edge of my seat to see those get on your car. They're going to look so sexy. We're going opposite ends of the spectrum it seems lol. the 92's are so small compared to yours. |
