When are you going to tear into it to see what needs to be fixed?

my focus was in another place for a while, so my xA was on the backburner. I attended a world cup downhill race a couple weeks ago, and had a good spill during a practice run. Im back to normal now after a concussion, which took a while to shake. Unrelated, but here is the video... I was on the outside of another rider and ran out of road, sherrif found me unconsciousness face down in the water. http://youtu.be/Udk_TqRY4rc

Bent cylinder 3 intake valve. Cly 4 damage is from a detonated spark plug ( 6 months ago or so). I reported about that on here in another thread ( Ill bump it). The valve definately indented an impression on the piston, but It isnt structural damage. The damage in cylinder 4 from the spark plug ceramic floating around is rather bad. The wall is really scored, the piston top is knicked up and blasted.
My plan for now is to put another head on, with stiffer valve springs, and higher lift cams. I want to then find the structural limit of this motor (40psi?) . Instead of starting over with a fresh bottom end now and risk damaging it (because im greedy), Id rather not waste a whole new build on experimentation.

I drove it around last night, the valve springs alone have made a noticable improvement in power above 6600rpm. With the oem springs the car was probably experiencing valve float robbing the power. The dyno will tell the story. I was going to do more work (cams, maybe valves), but I need my car squared away and dialed in for an event coming up. However, expect a good gain because this thing is going to be tuned for some crazy boost levels .
