Or like the 1st generation Miata owners that pop open and closed our barndoor(popup) headlights when we pass each other?

I think a lot of us just wanted to see one in person. I know that was the case for me before I got mine last weekend.

Some areas right now it's hard enough to see one at a dealer, much less on the road.. By next year though their should be a ton out there the way they are selling - if only Toyota can keep up.

i hadnt seen any yarii on the road and then all of a sudden yesterday i saw TWO! A silver sedan (really not blown away with this one) and a Blazing blue (the really bright one) LB! Im sad as that is the color i wish i got and it looks SOOO hot in person! I think we are going to start seeing a lot of them on the road now. Im kinda sad im not the only kid on the block with one anymore :( lol

I'm still the only one here in kalilspell montana area. Folks are still staring at my car as I go by. I keep forgetting that it is unusual looking. Its weird having folks staring at me as I drive by.

I see nearly one a day now here in Southern California. Probably 50/50 sedan and liftback. I still haven't seen another S sedan like mine though.

Yeah I see at least 1 a day. More sedans than anything, but I just saw one liftback this morning at the gym parking lot. Very cool little guy! It was a silver, base model, no features. It was also parked in a handicap spot, so I doubt the owner will trick it out.

I'm starting to see more Yarii, a sedan came up behind me on the hwy when I was driving to school but they went off an exit...then I saw another (sedan) at the mall parked. When I went out with my co-workers for dinner in the shopping mall lot there was a bayou blue liftback in the parking lot, didn't notice it till later but I was all giddy inside when I did spot it, sort of like a celebrity. Can't wait to see more.
