When you start getting comfortable how the car turns and you starting taking left and right turns like an indy car racer, faster then much more expsensive cars, yet the car seems to love every moment of it and doesn't feel unstable.

when you start thinking it would be impractical to have a car any larger than the Yaris for daily driving
when you get excited about twisties when you can't wait to take it to the dealership and show off your latest additions when all of your friends know you have the only Yaris in town when you know the curb weight stock and after modification when you agree with your friends that it can handle better than their 250hp+ vehicles when you know you can get any parking space you want, regardless of the angle or size of cars on either side of your space when you no longer think it looks really strange when you start getting excited about other subcompacts coming to the US when you have no problem admitting it looks pretty plain and "cute" when just off the lot when you would rather spend time and money making a 1.5L "fast" rather than saving up money to buy something that is much faster stock when you don't care what any other car buffs think about the little econobox you drive because you know it's different, unique and fun as hell to own

when you get excited about putting special lug nuts, valve stem caps, license plate bolts, or dome/map light bulbs on
when you think you know more members on YW by their first names rather than by their screen name :) when you talk to your friends about people who own a car similar to yours but live on just about every other continent than the one you live on

when you write a DIY or help someone through an install and you feel proud of them for completing a modification but you've never met them in person
when you drive over a state away to meet up with people whom you've never met just because they own the same kind of car when you go to a Toyota specific car meet and show up with 5 other Yarii forcing the show to announce 2009 will include a "Yaris only" class for the first time ever when you can remove all of your passenger seats in 30 minutes or less, using only hand tools when you know how many bolts it takes to hold your passenger seats in place
