Ouch, not good, djfuji.

Hi all! I'm new here, and new to my 2007 Yaris. I SO love this car! I had to run off and see if there was a forum for enthusiasts like myself.....so....here I am.

Please be patient if I have any rookie questions. I'll try not to drive y'all nuts.

I have not bought one yet but i thought i would join to do some research. I will be in the market soon possibly for 2. I went and looked at them yesterday, and of course i like the hatch and my wife likes the sedan. She will most likely get one but i am torn between this car, a fit, a xa,xb or a 02-05 civic si hatch. Now remind you im coming from the honda world. Ive owned yotas in the past, My little honda hatch is pushing 300k. She still is running but running strong is a exageration.

Nice sight, hope to get some good info off here for my purchase!

awkward intro time...
i am most likely getting a yaris lb this summer (other option is the xB). i currently drive a 2003 hyundai tiburon GT v6 6spd. it's paid off, so i think once i graduate this may (pending on job offer) i am going to pick up a (hopefully) white 5spd LB.
i have already read everything on this site. it has good information on it. i joined the tiburon site (newtiburon.com) right when it started so i have seen a new site/new model/new car flurish and this seems to be right on track.

look forward to being a part of the site.

Hi everyone. Former Volvo 850 turbo sedan owner here. Loved the Yaris upon first sight and loved the mileage even more.

So I turned in my hippie card and bought myself a vehicle. I have been riding a bicycle for the past two years everywhere. I was getting around 150 miles a week and was loving life. But then I had a serious accident and was out of the saddle for about 3 months. In that time I had to bum rides everywhere and it was not fun. So I decided to buy a car but it had to be fuel efficient, but fun. So the Yaris fit that bill and I have been a happy owner since January. I have a Meteorite LB 5sp and plan to put some proper suspension and tires on it for fun on the SoloII course. Ive been lurking here for a while and will probably keep on lurking but I thought I would stop in here and say "Hello, I like this forum".

Got my Black LB on 2-27-07 and love it other than the side wind handling. Sort of a car nut have several AW11 Mr2's, an 83 Celica, few Rx7's, and old American cars. US manufacturers lost it a long time ago!
