I'm sorry man! Just think about it... you see a Yaris driving along during the day with black tails and BOOYAH, he hits the brakes and reveals those sexy hidden LED circles... ohhhh man if I was graduated from college and working already, I'd have these bitches on the boat and some vinyl in the mail!

well..
I like tastefully smoked lights on darker cars, say gunmetal silver/grey, black, dark blues.

I personally hate smoked tails because I've seen so many piss poor jobs on older late model cars as if it were some attempt to give it some new life..

BUT, to each his own.

hurry up and graduate and show us those bitches eh?

hmmm I'm not sure if you guys understood my intentions, I do not mean smoking as in a vinyl film over the tail light cover, but opening the assembly and painting non-reflective parts black, as done for headlights by hasher22 and other members. Kinda like the modelista lights Violin has, but with the silver parts in black. With the same thing done to the headlights, it would seem a winning combination

No sir.

That's my opinion.

Hmmm i thaught your gonna tint/spray smoke it.

Well i dont really know if thats a good idea to paint the inside black cuz your taillight housing has a red tint right? And its not like this hey?

Cuz that one has the clear plastic thing and its not red. So if u had them i would say go for it ;)

But hey if u wanna do it go for gold!! But i recon you will just see black under the red tinting.......

OK well the plastic is tinted red, except for two circles over the lights, which are clear. So painting the insides would still have a red tint through the plastic... Damn, if only I had an extra pair of these just to try it out

I understood what you meant but I wouldn't do it if it were my car. We all have different ideal pictures of our cars in our head though.

Yeah i guess it is all down to a matter of taste... I just have in my head the concept of a balance between painted headlights and painted taillights. Now as to whether I will attempt either of those, who knows....

I recon you should paint your headlights White and Red.............thats just me cuz i was about to paint all my badges white and recolour the black of my headlights white.

But i was thinking in the long run i wanted chrome and black rims so i stuck with the chromies.

Well front lights I've thought about it quite a bit more, either black or dark grey. Putting a layer of carbon fiber instead would just be awesome but I would not know where to start

you can start by painting it red and white lol..............

These are the wheels i want, though i really want to make the badges white not really chrome. (i think im gettin over chrome) So i prob go down to my local repair shop and tell them to recolour the chrome parts white!! so i will have black and white rims :)
