intake manifold photo

How exactly is this intake designed/tuned(in terms of a system)? Obviously it was designed and engineered as part of an entire system (likely camshafts included with LTH). I can't see taking the time and energy designing something like this unless it was part of a "bigger picture/system" which included some interior motor work etc. So...before anybody gets too excited about the manifold, what type of gains might one see using only say, this intake plenum and a stock exhaust with zero motor work? What I am trying to get at is....it's very likely that this is only a little piece of something that is much bigger and more expensive so some may want to strap on their seatbelts to know that the whole system is thousands, excluding the mechanical work (if they cant' do it themselves). Not tyring to be a "downer" at all...just want to get a bit of a clearer picture.

Thanks for the concern, but as indicated by Cali-the intake was designed to offer power gains with no other chnages to the motor. This is why I have posted so many power numbers from our extensive dyno testing before running a photo of the actual intake. Having tested this intake in every possible combination, it adds power over the stock intake regardless of the level of modifications (from stock to the mods listed in the thread on the 123 wheel hp).

Chupacabra, use the seach feature and read the other thread(s) about this intake. This thread is just a picture showing off the production piece. (And I'm so glad he made it real for all those that wanted a picture).

It is designed to be bolted onto a stock motor and provide a significant gain in hp. Period.

In addition, it can be used on a built motor or a turbo motor (or both, as I intend to do).

Thanks for all the kind words-it was a lot of work and we still have some final testing to do before starting the production run. Sory for th edelay-but I want the intake perfect beforeit goes into production to ensure everyone is completley satisfied with their purchase. Each will have serial number-intake in the photo is DRXP001 (Dynatek Racing Experimental prototype 001).
