What do you want from a head unit?

Not really sure. Would be pretty cool to have video and navigation support.

We should switch this conversation over to the car audio section...

We definitely should. Sadly I can't buy any of this stuff yet, so I'll wait until I'm sure I won't waste anyone's time.

waiting for a Walbro 416 to be worked into a new canister with a BNF and a 6~an feed and 4~an return.

A real baseline dyno and a tune to follow to bring the full spool down to the 3000-3250 RPM range.

Like I said it was the forth time to see it in the theater for me ;-)

I really enjoy it. It is a great update to the origins of the movie back in the day. The rendition with Matt Broderick was just "ok" since it was such a great departure. My only real complaint is when a certain someone dies because it just feels disconnected. Trying not to spoil things so that is all I will say.

Walbro experiment.

255 on the left and 416 on the right. Go figure that the smaller pump on the right will work with ethanol and over 700hp whereas the 255 will max out at around half of that on ethanol.

I'm going to be the first NSRT-4 with a Walbro 416 using our stock canister. I'm testing fuel scavenging at 1/8th of a tank to see how the 416 performs.

Adrian,

I hear you about the disconnected part. That's why I wasn't too critical about the acting. The actors are fine BUT the script...it's like it came out of a Godzilla movie. Oh...wait...

Thank you for the pump comparison pictures SGcomp, are you going to use a hot wire kit on your new 416?

I already have a rewire kit happening on the 255 I have in there now. The canister I use also has a BNF, a 6~an feed and 4~an return.

In July I'll put the pump and canister. I'll work with the only other CMR DiabloSport shop around here (aside from the ass clowns who claim a CMR status but can't tune for crap...PRE here in Portland) up in Vancouver, WA.

I don't know about your iPhone, but mine has video and navigation support. All I require out of a head unit is either Aux or Bluetooth capabilities. My phone goes where I go, so I always have it anyways.

Thanks to a member I got some Tein-S springs :)

I’m doing a lot of research and actually making a guide to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible. I’ve decided to wait for a deal on the Tokico Blues as I don’t want to blow the stock shocks and struts. Will be updating and making a separate thread on that.
