Ran are these officially sanctioned events? Ive never heard of such. Seems the taxpayers would not like the idea of city or county Police or Sheriff equipment being abused at the local dragstrip for non-emergency situations.

I'm pretty sure that alot of the money and registration fees went to charities, but I can't remember. Either way, these were real cops in real patrol cars. Whether the cars had been retired from service or not, I couldn't tell you honestly.

My fiend's mom bought a Crown Vic way back that was supposed to have been an unmarked police cruiser. A new sales guy screwed up and sold it to her. They tried to get it back, but the paperwork had already been processed and his mom wouldn't let it go. I think the salesman got canned for that little mistake. Matt said that thing will seriously haul @ss!

Actualy I find mine has a decent turning circle for it's size. I have an 86 with 351W

Mine actually goeas into warp drive when I shift from all the way from L-2-3 to D.
