i have never seen above 110 on a race track in this car, it usually runs out of steam or road at about 105 mph.

for reference, i have been to CMP and Roebling Road Raceway. RRR is pretty fast track, but neither can let you "top out" the car.

I had my 1.5l LB to 115mph and it was rock solid on DF springs... no hint of a governor at that speed... I hit the rev limit occasionally when I wait too long to shift, but I've never experienced the governor... oh yea I forgot... Video of my spedo WOT to 110mph

I've done about 170kmh (speedo indicated) in 4th gear and ran out of road before I could downshift to 3rd in my Yaris 5-door hb. I'll try it out again soon hehehe

I got up to 103mph (165.7 km/h) this past Sunday evening, but even that was a feat. I expected for it to be a little easier, to be honest. But I had a custom axleback fabricated yesterday (it looks good), so I'm sure that will help with the high end.

Botchilah, why would you rev that high in 4th gear? Wouldn't that be putting lots of stress on the engine? I didn't even know it was possible to achieve 170km/h in 4th.

185mph on a Yaris?

I don't even think the car body would be able to withstand such a speed.

I am looking for it, if I can't find it on you tube I will see if he still has original. But it is turbo'ed and lightened, I have drivin in it. It is a beast (for a yaris) :) Thats my goal is to get it like his, but with a little better handling, all he had was sway bar and better brakes.

most auto cars are speed limited when i was purchasing my yaris they messed up the order and gave me a toyota camry (08) to use and even once i got to 90kmph i noticed the power just cut down and started accelerating like a snail

I've driven 110 regularly in my automatic, even when it was completely stock (I have an intake now). Highest I've gone was 112, and then I pussied out.
