First though about getting a Bayou Blue one, because the colour slightly switches its tone depending on the angle and lighting. Didn't want to get a black one, because although it looks great when clean, it shows even the slightest layer of dust on it and you have to wash it often to keep it looking good (my last car was a black mica Mazda 323F BJ). Bright red seemed just wrong for an econobox- that colour's best left for Ferraris and firetrucks. Other colours just seemed bland.
So eventually I got the Sea Spirit blue Yaris (similar to Blazing Blue) and I'm really glad I did. Looks great and although I don't have to was it as often as a black car, it still needs washing often. |

I have Tampa Bay Lightning License Plates and my new Blazing Blue Yaris matches perfectly.

Because I'm a "brand new car" noob, lol. And I figured it'd be the easiest thing to find decals for.
Not to mention, everyone I talked to told me not to choose black, which was one of the three options I had -- Black, Red, or White. Bah. |

Went with bayou blue because it was a different colour of blue than you usually see. A more interesting/non-standard blue. And I thought that the bayou blue would look nicer than the blazing blue when I tinted my Yaris's windows.
In hindsight though, I REALLY wish I'd gone w/ white... its one of my favourite colours these days, and I saw my buddy's new Civic which was all pure white 1 month later and it really made me wish I'd decided to go w/ a white Yaris :( Oh yeah, or I'd (now) love to have chosen a RED hatchback for the Mord-Sith factor.... it would have been SO APPROPRIATE!!! :) :)

I'm not a fan of white cars, but a white Yaris actually looks pretty cool.
But I have a black yaris!

my 2 cents?...black; cause i thought it looked a little meaner...lol...the car is kinda small and although i new i could do some nice things with it i figured white, blue or red wouldn't be as agressive, which is the look i'm going for...

Wanted the polar white and nothing else. White doesn't show fading and scratches like other colors. Had a red Toyota pickup in the past and it faded like crazy. I also knew white would look good with tinted windows.
