LOL carry a brick!

Those magnetic key boxes can fall off and are obvious..... so now that you have trashed your car that you were proud to have purchased for $12K you can re-invest your savings ........... hmmmmmm hindsight being 20-20 you should have purchased new!

Nope, fail. Don't carry a brick. Look for one.

I have to be honest....I don't lock my car. I always figured that if somebody wanted to get in...it's easy enough (just break the window). Problem solved.

I don't think we have those in central FL, I guess I'll just have to remember not to leave the key in the car then

I used to be the same way till one night this guy made his way down the street breaking into cars and stealing what he could. My truck was unlocked and he stole a cd wallet with 150 cd's, my watch, and cash I kept in the glove box for emergencies and when I called the cops, they would not help me because my truck was not locked. They caught the guy with all the stuff he had stolen and still would not let me go and get my belongings because he didn't "break into" my truck, they said I should have locked it, so now I keep it locked just incase I need to call the cops.

Wait, what? That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I would have been on the local news over that one.

Sorry, I didn't realize I would offend you, and I sure didn't say it WAS your problem. You just convinced me to leave this site, I don't need shit like this. I was just trying fit in, and be freindly and contribute and you have to act like this, but thanks to you I'm out of here. I thank most of the people on here that were nice and helpful, but I won't be back. I dont belong here. This isn't the site that it used to be.

Hey man....woah. No need to bug out. You didn't offend me at all. I was just pointing out that since I don't lock my doors, I also don't leave anything in the car worth money such as: watch, money, etc. I know that you didn't say it was my problem....I said that it was your problem because obviously if things are in view and the car is open, it's likely to be broken into. If your skin is this brittle and thin, it might be best to leave but I hope that you wouldn't just because of that post....I mean, it's just an internet forum man - people comment on all kinds of things, go off topic, come back on topic etc. Don't take it personally man!

Oh yeah....and lock your car if your going to leave valuables in it.
