Yes it can be done in the 09 - I just changed my speedo gauge backlighting from orange to blue using these from eLed :
http://www.eled.com/product.asp?cata...d=epl3015pbc-a They are slightly bigger than what Vodkalush recommended in his DIY but they worked fine and were easier to work with (slightly). The problem I ran into was the clock on the base 09 LB gets its color from the plastic housing it is in, so changing the LED's would not fix that. What I did was buy some blue 1/8 inch transparent plexiglass and use that to change the clock color. I cut out a window in the orange plastic part around the clock and replaced it with a small piece of blue plexi that I got here: http://www.estreetplastics.com/Trans...Sheet_s/58.htm Cost me like $3 plus the LED's and overall was pretty easy - Use search to find the DIY from others that changed their gauge color lighting |

Hey, I bought bulbs from Superbrite but when i try to swap out the bulbs in the stock base, it seems the bulb won't budge out of it's own base. Is there anyway for me to take it out? unfortunately the base i bought is bigger than the stock ones. 5mm. Thank you!!

Ok so I played around with the bulbs on my 08 Yaris, the green in the car is crappy if you ask me... So i installed a High Bright LED, this is just a normal LED that has a 999ohm resister, it involves a bit of soldering(if you want it to be permanent) and ALOT of patience, I will attach the photos, the top switch is obviously the one that i replaced https://www.dropbox.com/s/zoqtlanezy...witches.jpg?m=
If there is anyone out there that would know how to(if possible) change the colour of the radio and its buttons, once again i want them to be WHITE :)

I would have to see what you did on the back side of the knob. You may have created a solder bridge when you added your LED.

Ah I will double check that particular one, the other two i found a creative way to change the bulb with one that they sell here for park lights, fits into the original fitting, will change that when i get home from work in about 3 hours :(
