@ 1NZYaris1: is that green stuff around the SSK and other shifter linkage a lubricant? I've been debating on putting a lubricant on the same place.

Do you think it really needs it? I recently put some lube on mine and I haven't noticed a big difference yet. But then again, I didn't take it apart and put it right on the SSK.

I put the engine bay short shifter in today, and realized I'd made a mistake not ordering the bracket with it. I noticed the cable angle change before roadtesting the car, and it definitely made shifting a bit too notchy for me, especially going into 1st. I put it back to stock, but I can tell I'm going to like the mod so I'm ordering the bracket right now. Thanks for all the reviews and tips, guys!

Got mine reinstalled today, with the bracket. It's WAAAAAYYYY better than stock, and definitely considerably better than with the short shifter only IMO. Way to go, Garm...quality product!

After having driven with it for a while now, I just wanted to say that while it isn't a must have mod like the rear sway bar, it's way better than stock and I wouldn't go back. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Thanks Garm, for bringing this awesome mod to the masses.

Got mine super fast! Great job Garm! I have only installed the linkage and not the bracket because I was having a real hard time getting the cable clips off, but so far, the difference is great! Along with the tein coilovers I got from garm, this car is beginning to feel surprisingly sporty!

jpmck03's trick of clamping a large pair of Vise-Grips to the 90° lip at the top of the clip and working it back and forth while pulling up worked great for me.

I actually just finished the rest of the kit. I had to dig up a screw driver with a head big enough and they came out like a breeze.

Fully installed now and it feels awesome. Thanks for a great product, Garm.
