That's the problem, I can't think of anything right now

OK how about this one, the ugliest car I have ever had the misfortune of laying eyes on... If you think the Fit is ugly...

hint: it's a rebadged version of a Japanese car (Mitsubishi I believe), and this manufacturer tried to aim it at the youth market... Their motto: "This Box Ain't Square". I beg to differ!

No photo-chop. Straignt-up piccie. As far as I know, this is the only time this mfr (major european mfr) has entered a car for this race. Hint - Paris-Dakar.

Ah I thought it was a Dakar car, those are pretty badass...

As for the manufacturer, I have just trawled wikipedia and google images for any hint, but I give up now.

OK - last hint - It's model name was very close to a SUV the same company produced recently, which was named after some folks who live around the area the Paris-Dakar goes through.
