Well, I'm looking before I actually move just to gauge costs, etc. Me and Sam are moving to North Carolina I believe.

Ohh..

Oh well, I don't think anything will beat the $1,800 per semester I'm paying right now... Might as well just stay here for now

My apartment is $350/month. The ones by the beach in NC are $350-500/month.

Wow... apartments around the area I'm looking at are more than $1000 per month

The one that my friend and I really wanted was $4000/month o_O

Yeah, I pay 675.00 for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, central air, dishwasher...

no patio/porch or anything but a parking space for my car....but still..4,000....REALLY??

That's even cheap for South Carolina standards. 3 bedrooms around here are close to $1000. My daughter has been looking.

Hell our 3 bed 2 bath 1400sqft house on a small lot with a 2.5 car garage is just shy of $1000 a month bank note

Yes Lisa, that's how much they are asking for here...
So I guess I'm still lucky
My per semester rent includes everything including a tram to go take me to campus
But parking is an additional $500 per sem

I didn't know that rents were only this high here...

Hmm so if I actually get an internship over there, renting wouldn't be as much of a problem
