I'll gets some photos up soon.

John from Dallas, Texas. Soon to be 40 years old.

It came time to replace the 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage. After thorough research I was shocked to learn my dream car was a Yaris. 6 days for me with my 2009 3 door, silver. I really love this car.

I have a '05 Tundra DC 4x4 which I really like. But with gas prices going up recently and projected to continue upward, I went looking for a used high mpg Toyota to use as a commuter.

It took some time and patience to find what I wanted, a well maintained, low miles (<60k), that got >35 mpg. I looked at a few Corollas, one, an '03, had over 300k miles on it and they were asking $4k. I looked at a 06' Nissan Sentra, but the build quality was less than desired and the engine had a high freq' vibration. Prius' were selling for $12-16k.

Then I saw an add for a '07 Yaris HB for $9,950. This was the first Yaris I had seen during my search, that was up for sale. 44,001k miles, all maintenance records, new Michelin tires, optional Winter package and audio. It look new. I offered $9k and got it.

I am very pleased with it, as is my wife. And I am glad I found this forum I can use as a resource for info and such.

Howdy to everyone from the Lone Star State.... Like my Ford truck, but I LOVE my YARIS.... Have had a secret passion for Toyota's several years now. We are looked down on but thats okay; we unlike "them" stay out of the SHOP!!!! Can I get a heck yes???

I think I am getting a "big man with little car" complex. I live in a very rural farming area and I have yet to see another Yaris within 100+ miles. Plus, I am getting funny looks from people when I drive around. Should I tell folks that the car belongs to my wife or daughter?

Got a li'l white thingy that gets me around the beltway with ease, and I love it so. It's less than two years old and up to 31k, and it's taking the load like a champ.

To me, it looks like a computer mouse--I keep wanting to reach over the back of it and double-click its hood. So I named it Fievel. :)

New(to me) 2007 Yaris hatchback owner here...

I bought this car this month from a courier company that went out of business. I paid 2,000(US) for it and it runs/drives perfectly, no leaks, damage, etc. The cars were serviced every Sunday as it ran about 500 miles a day, 5 days a week since 2008. The interior is near perfect, the paint is fair. The front is rough, with tons of tiny chips, but that's to be expected after that many miles. I'm planning on keeping the car for my current 400 mile a week commute instead of driving my 10MPG Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

I can say I've been shocked at the fairly low price of aftermarket parts for this car, all these cheap parts are refreshing compared to my Wrangler build, or my 1970 Mercury Cougar restomod.

This week I put a 6" indash Pioneer touchscreen, tinted the windows, and slapped on a set of drag DR-24 15's(Work RSZ-R knockoffs) and a set of Nankang 205/55-15's. I'm about to order a set of Eibach ProKit springs from microimage later this week, shocks will come when I decide on a set(any suggestions? not looking for a bumpy 6 hour commute).

The first thing my dad asked me after I closed the deal for this car was "how much have you spent on aftermarket parts"...I had to LOL, he knows me better than I know myself because I told him "none, and I don't plan on it" that was before I typed "Yaris parts" in the ebay search box. When he finally sees it he's gonna give me a speech
