I have a 2006 and I have the original battery with a car near 288,000kms. But as it gets colder out here in Canada, it is taking longer and longer to start. Time for a new battery.

Purchased in Sept 2006, my 2007 Yaris
My battery is 9 years and 2 months as of today. Never had one problem with it. I expect to get 10 years out of it. Amazing little car and battery.
