I just watched Inland Empire last night

all I can say is "whoa!"

some of the best cinematography I have ever seen in my whole life

If you like David Lynch and haven't seen it, SEE IT NOW

Jeremy Irons stars as Kingsley, the director of the film within the film who does little to help the characters -- or the audience -- distinguish reality from fantasy.

be warned, if you don't like david lynch stuff o you are going to hate it

it is also 3 hours long, you may want to start with eraserhead, mulolland drive, lost highway, wild at heart, and dune and get a good feel of his stuff if you don't have that already under your belt

or just jump right in

I like all types of movies, esp. ones that will make you think hard. 3 hours is fine. most of the times, good movies, even if they are long, won't feel like they are that long. Bad movies, however.. never seem to end thanks for the heads up.. it's already added in my blockbuster's queue.

just saw a movie from New Zealand called Black Sheep... Think of it as Shaun of the Dead, with zombie sheep, really over the top and hilarious!

I just got the 1980 Flash Gordon "Saviour or the Universe Edition" on DVD. It was just released earlier this month. That is one cool movie! Major camp though!

It was pretty good, starting quite slow but really setting up the stage for the mindlessly fun last part
