My kids grew up, 17 and 23, so I doubt we'll do the tree thing. It's just too much work for me and no one else helps. We'll just take all the gifts to my mom's house. She leaves her tree up all the time. She has a formal living room (which we only use at Christmas) and just keeps the door closed.
