it's an aluminum engine valve cover, and yes, you need to buy one ;)

Brushed aluminum looks pretty cool, but you can also paint it, powdercoat it, or polish it.

There's a thread on this product in my Vendor forum.

echo, not sure, but I can get someone over to my shop for a test fit. I can custom cut one for the s/c guys if necessary, no problem.
