My Car Is Wrecked!

Well this morning at about 6:45 I am awoken by a loud crash and my 2 way alarm going off. I run outside in my boxers to see that my car has been hit. Some guy in an escalade had just hit my car hard!!! Once he saw me he left the scene. F&%^$R!!!

I have an appointment with ICBC this morning so we will se how this goes.

Luckily I saw the Vehicle and I have parts of it that came off at the scene!

Here are a couple pix

I knew I should have parked in the neighbours driveway last night

this is just more ammo for my anti-SUV movement. people that drive SUVs basically can't DRIVE them...they just buy it to compensate for everything else that is lacking their lives (shitty job, messed up relationships, small genitalia, etc). i'm not saying people shouldnt buy big vehicles. i have a family and own a minivan. but i'm tired of seeing 5'1" single females driving 3 tons of machinery down the road when they can barely see over the hood, and this is all in the name of being "cool." i sincerely hope you got the plate number and nail this bastard. but dont expect too much...this guy drives an escalade, so he probably has no money and is living strictly off credit and paycheck-to-paycheck. shit, he's probably 40 and still lives with his parents. my condolences to your yaris...

Agreed, my angry-meter goes off the charts when I see some 19 year old girl driving a YUKON down I-95 doing 95MPH and basically driving it like its some kind of Honda Civic. God, I'm so glad I'm not buried in debt just so I can drive a giant bling-mobile.

Would you like some cheese w/ your wine?

Seriously all you sound like is just another hater. And i got a definition too

Quote:
Someone who is enraged by evidence of another's success and as a result has to try to one up the successful person or simply put the successful person down. Hating is much more than just being jealous of the person who has done well. The hater would find much satisfaction in seeing some form of misfortune come to that person.

Haters may also simply find satisfaction in someone else’s misfortune. When a friend falls off a bicycle and lands in the sewer for instance, it is a normal reaction to laugh at the situation. However, a hater will respond slightly differently by laughing at the person in a ridiculing manner.

Haters have a special link to one another and they tend to fuel each others hate by hating in groups (ahem anti-SUV movement *cough*) . It may be a form of stress relief or something entirely different but they do seem to become happy from the escalation (great word right there )of hate for a person that arises in these groups.

Also if he had blue on his tire then the tire's are probaly brand new. You should check the local tire dealers and see if any escalades came through there.

Holy crap! It looks like he spun your car around at least 90 degrees? What a drunken dickhead.

I would assume the cops asked body shops in the area to let them know if an Escalade with front end damage comes in. Then they can just match up the pieces and proceed to kick his ass.

the car still looks driveable. That scratch doesn't look too bad. You should see what hitting a deer will do to a car or truck. Another guy months back said he had a bad accident and the yaris still was driveable. .

Thanks for sharing.

Ahhh man I hope they catch them and at very least you won’t be held responsible for your insurance deductible. I once had a sports car smashed by a lifted Chevy Avalanche at a gas station, backed right onto my hood while I was in the bathroom (roadtrip.) I came out in time to see them fleeing, since I had nothing but a description they got away and I had to pay. On a bright note you managed to really capture the metallic flake in our black paint!
