Toyota Swag ???

I am wondering what swag if any is everyone receiving from Toyota?

In Canada - all I have ever received are snowbrush / ice scraper stick combos from the dealerships.

I've also done numerous online surveys for Toyota Canada and have received nothing.

I should mention that Toyota Canada did send me a $500 gift certificate towards a new Toyota - 2 WEEKS after I bought a new 2010 Yaris.

Oh my.

I haven't really received anything from toyota. I think at one point my father bought maybe a dozen or so toyota tercels in the early 80's, and didn't get anything really extra. But the sales manager at the dealership knew him well.

From my dealer I got a book of car wash coupons good at Mike's Express, and once a month they have a get-together at the dealer with free food, and they promise not to try and sell you anything while there. I haven't gone to it yet.

I bought my Yaris at a dealership 1.5 hours away, since the local dealership were complete idiots and wouldn't sell me a car without floor mats. I got a coupon book for cheaper oil changes. Hmm, I have a lift in my garage, and they are 1.5 hours away...

Oh, they did offer a license plate frame with their dealership on it. I told them not to bother putting it on.

The only car swag I get is the stuff I snag at car shows.

A few years ago, I was able to get a pair of leather gloves with the FJ logo, some towels and a 1/24 scale AE86 tuner car from Koyo, a couple Lexus F-sport cups, and a few squishy pink pigs that Toyota used in the early Yaris ads.

I have a 2009 Rav4 and a 2010 Yaris so when I bought each respective car - the dealership enrolled me automatically into Club Toyota (goggle if if you haven't heard of it) - they send me a Club Toyota magazine every three months - and for the Fall/Winter issue you get a coupon for a free ice scraper / snow brush - (2 mags = 2 coupons = 2 ice scrapers / snow brushes) They gave out free Toyota umbrellas in the Spring.

Cool thing about Club Toyota is that it tracks your maintenance done at any dealership thru the VIN # - and u can get your finance information incl. payments made and balance owing.

Thanks 2 everyone 4 sharing their stories...

Let me dig out the boxes to list all I have. I do also have more than plenty of Scion swag.
