speedometer lighting
Could any one tell me if there is a way of making the lighting brighter on the speedo etc during the day on a 2011 yaris T spirit, when bright sunlight shines in it makes the dash lights sometimes unreadable, thanks

Have you checked the brightness control wheel to the left (right?) of the steering wheel? I normally use my headlights during the day to increase visibility, but the default brightness for night time driving isn't bright enough to see. If you scroll the wheel all the way up until it "bumps" over the soft stop, they will go to daytime brightness.
Which lights on the dash are you having a hard time seeing? You should be able to see the speedo regardless, so the only other thing you'd see on a regular basis would be turn signals and hi-beam. Last edited by CrankyOldMan; 07-28-2011 at 09:55 AM. Reason: oops, might be a righthand drive. |
