08 Yaris w/18" rims need advice
Problem - don't like the rims on my 08 Yaris made for young guys like ya'll not me.
Tire size 215/35R 18 + Liquid Metal Rims I want to get rid of these 18 in rims and go to a regular rim and tire setup - that said the rims do make the car as far as looks go. Rational 1.) I am older and really don't want these rims (I didn't buy them they came on the car) reason being I simultaneously cut both front tire sidewalls when I hit one of those steel plates that is used to cover huge holes in the road. Didn,t really know about these extremely low profile tires and their propensity get creamed by normal road obstacles. I can't afford to replace tires every time I hit a normal road obstacle.I would appreciate any guidance - suspension looks stock to me BTW. I need to emphasize that I need an inexpensive solution - would trade for other rims or sell - just hate the thought of having to buy tires constantly. |
