2014 clutch plate
With less than 1500 miles on my new Yaris the clutch engages with a stutter when using reverse, especially uphill. It occasionally does the same in first gear but not as often and not as much. Could be me. I haven't driven a clutch in more than 15 years. This clutch feels like a toy compared to the ones I used in trucks from the 1960's to the late 1990's.
Other than that I love the car and the great mileage. I average 37.4 mpg combined (and rising) and when I try hard I get over 40 mpg. |

put it in 1st before you go reverse. or neutral, release clutch, before you clutch again to put in reverse.
