projector retrofit DIY wiring issue

Recently, I made DIY a projector lens for my headlight which is 9003 to singal H1 bulb
I tired to use the HID low beam wire to low beam(+ -) and retrofit reflector + to high beam
I realized that when I turn on high beam switch, there is no power to low beam, so the retrofit reflector is on but no light from low beam (no any light)
Therefore, I tired to use 4 pin relay, 86 to high beam switch from original socket source, 85 to battery - , 30 to battery +, and 87 to low beam wiring.
When I turned on the high beam, the low beam wire(20awg) smoked and burnt.
Also, all 4 pin wire are 16 awg

Did I do something wrong?
Is there any other way to make it works except making a switch for retrofit reflector?
