Clutch question

I was hoping to get some insight from people who have more experience with manual gearboxes than me.

While on a small road trip, I had a sudden rush of crap to the brain while going up a moderate hill and I didn't release the clutch all the way after shifting for around 5 or 8 seconds. Before the crap cleared, I gave it more throttle a couple times. Not close to full throttle, but a noticeable increase.

On the way back home, I noticed that the clutch engagement felt off, and I couldn't get power down in the same way. After a few days of nursing the clutch, it now feels like it did before my mistake.

Is this as simple as a glazed clutch, or is the clutch returning to normal a sign that it is about to fall off a cliff?
