2012 sedan seats >> 2009 2D hatch?
Just got a 2009 base 2D hatch as I will have to junk my 2012 base sedan due to egregious frame rot.
Just did 500 miles on the '09 hatch and my back is fucked. Not a problem I had in the '12 sedan. Can I swap the driver seats between the sedan and hatch? Considerations: - not sure compatibility of the two airbag systems both year and type of car (both have the older rounded face) - '09 hatch has a record of being serviced for airbag recall - not sure the '12 sedan was - '12 sedan has airbag light on (think this is from a battery swap) - '12 sedan seats have a lever that moves them up and down Saw the thread from 2025 on the same topic, but unless I'm misreading something it seems inconclusive. |
