When replacing the automatic shift knob, did you guys have to remove the center console? If so, is it hard to do? I want to change the stock shift knob for custom ones... please help. Thanx

I just spun mine off and spun another one on in about 1 minute!

no, you just have to unwind the automatic shift knob - try it

cool, Thanx for the tip. Haha- i didn't know it just spins off. I'll be going to SuperAutobacs and getting new ones now... wohoo!

Also check-out the small auto boutique at Mitsuwa Japanese Market in Costa Mesa (Paularino/Bristol). They have a bunch of really nice shift knobs from Japan... some on sale cheap!
