You can have things like rods and pistons custom made, but it isn't cheap.

The Scion xA that has the Danstoy ITB kit used to run a supercharger but he removed it due to the amount of damage done to his piston rings. He was running 7 PSI.

Good luck boosting the 1NZ.

That thing looks pretty darn simple to install! The belt may be a bitch. No new exhaust manifold is awesome. And that sucker is small as hell!

I wonder why the intake is not where the old box was located???

***edit***

I see, the airflow sensor is connected to the intake and I guess they didn't want a wiring harness or something like that. Or is that the electronic throttle???

doubt it. sounds like an inflated crank #. but that's close because isn't our drivetrain loss like 10% or something small like that?

yeah lets see how much its going to cost, and when it will actually release...Cause it seems to me when these companies write "near future" or something similar it really means months and months dragging on to years. The blitz sc has had a TBA on there website forever...

the 1nz is still pretty new. give it some time. start saving your pennies and in a few years, you'll be able to buy all this with cash money

Yeah, but i'm reeeeeaaalll impatient - I dont need to save, i have it - now - so i want it - now. In a few years I'll be really bored and will want a whole new car, not new parts for an old one....

I pray every night. lol. i am hoping some companies answer soon..

but when the whole import scene as a majority switches to micro compacts, you'll have the early body... sort of having a clean eg with a motor swap. this car is going to be a classic.

plus, if you wait for the demand to grow, they'll have engine swap kits with ecu, cluster, mounts, axles, shift linkage, and everything else you need all in one kit and with a low price! but i still agree with you, i want it now too!

50 hp at the wheels? Even at the crank? Call me a bit skeptical . That's a 50% increase at the crank, more like 60% at the wheels. Is this thing spitting out 15lbs of boost?

I could see 50% with a header and header-back exhaust system, and tuning, but not just by slappin on a charger ...

i would expect to see similar numbers to the JR fit s/c....w/ an exhaust manifold and exhaust (as the fit has)

so for CARB legality, 130whp, no CARB and 10lbs of boost, expect 150whp-ish

you shouldnt need to upgrade internals as the 1nzfe is a lower compression engine to start with, but im sure the kit comes w/ bigger injectors....

as for sound? ive read the rotrex s/c's are pretty quiet
