ah it's not that great, 180 degree bends are not exactly good for air flow!

I've got my oil catch tank installed and wanted to find out about the tubing on your car.
The blue tubing from your catch tank that attached to the top right hand side of the head cover. Is this tubing really hard and doesn't soften with the heat the engine and header makes? I've had two types installed already, one harder than the other, but even the harder one still collapses like a vacuum is sucking it shut. If you can tell me what kind of tubing you have. That'd be greatly appreciated.

Looks good! I like that intake design!
An oil catch can is usually to go between the valve cover and intake pipe or PCV valve and intake pipe. It's function is to remove oil and or oil vapor from positive air coming from the valve cover and oil vapor induction in the intake. Usually you don't install these unless you have blow by. I don't have blow by on my engine but I wish to have clean intake. Oil vapor can lower fuel octane significantly. You can fabricate one for under 20 dollars. |
