You can't cause it only unbolts at the rear axle and the header.

well I copied that from the Greddy website, so I would say their exhaust is catback.

I have the greddy - its axle back only. Notice how the part description says "rear section only"
Like said above - after the axle back section is removed, the exhaust is basically one long peice all the way up to the front... I noticed you looking at the tanabe exhausts and the TRD in other threads. If thats the style that you want - you wont like the greddy, its pretty big - extremely noticable and although it sounds very good - its no where near as quiet as those other exhausts.

ahh, I stand corrected. Well, sit actually. I have the Tanabe Medallion Touring, and I love it. I will probably get the exhaust guy to change the mid-pipe for me next -- good to know there is some welding involved.
Thanks RShatchback.

The reason the Yaris exhaust systems are only axle backs is because the catylitc converter is welded into the exhaust system.

I think that would be your best bet because the axle back section has a good muffler with good welds and the hangars are properly positioned. Basically less prone to becoming a butcher job.
I think I would ask to have flanges put on a few inches after the catalytic converter and save your factory exhaust system. This way you will have a full cat-back that can be removed and swapped out when Officer Swine gives you a ticket or other reasons.

ill be waiting for catback, which as most dont know, you usually have to cut and weld to your stock exhaust behind the cat....
otherwise, i might go custom...

I have never...ever yet had to cut or weld anything to install a purchased cat back exhaust on any of those cars...
