correct me if i'm wrong but don't the TRD bars just connect to the top bolt of the strut & the Tanabe connect to the strut housing @ 3 points AND are adjustable AND cheaper ? As i'm going with the Tanabe bars instead of the TRD bar for that reason ...

Nothing cheaper than the Tanabe I've seen so far... there are others out there though through C-one and such I believe, but they get pricey.

I was debating the same thing and I finally ordered the Tanabe strut bar (read some good stuff on it and I wasn't sure if they fixed the trd one (since they had stopped the sale of them) so I just ordered the tanabe one and hopefully get it by Saturday..

I've had mine installed for a good 10 months now (Tanabe) and I love it. Works great and adds some nice detail. I paid around $90 w/shipping thru ebay.

It is not needed in the front. The strut towers are tied into the firewall. Some people don't agree. The rest of the suspension is soft rubber anyway, you are not going to feel any difference. Spend the money on a rear sway bar.

This again?? Sheesh! Those who have installed it noticed the difference, those who haven't obviously don't. Test a corner on the freeway before and after, there is a difference. Besides, it adds a nice look to the engine bay. I stand by my judgment. Besides, Rockland didn't asked if you thought it worked or not.

You noticed a difference because you bought products that actually improve handling.

They both make a difference, but the rear sway bar makes a much larger difference from what I've seen.

There's a reason adding a front strut bar doesn't take your vehicle out of 'stock' in SCCA Solo Autocross, but adding/changing the rear sway bar instantly dumps you into Street Touring instead.
