It was 17 degrees when I walked out the door this morning with windchills at 0-10....

burr...

I don't mind it cold if there's snow to go with it. But without snow the cold just seems like a pointless annoyance.

We got about an inch last night. I hate snow. I didn't mind it when I worked in town. But an hour drive on a highway they don't plow is just nerve-wrecking.

You guys may think differently in late summer when it hits 104 to 110 regularly. Granted, I'm only talking about the San Fernando Valley. In the L.A. basin, the temps are more moderate.

But it's a dry heat.

When I was in Vegas it was paradise.. 105 degrees with no humidity.. perfect weather.

Flew back into Chicago from there, 45 degrees.

Flew back into Ohio, 40 degrees. Ugh..

Vegas is fun to visit but I don't think I'd want to actually LIVE there...it's so dirty.

Depends on where you're at. They have a lot of nice areas too. My cousin lives there and he loves it.

And he's from New Philadelphia like me.

I'd still like something middle of the road better...NC, SC, VA, KY, TN....Georgia, even...
if I only knew people...

I'll take southern NC or South Carolina out of your list.

I wouldn't want to live in KY, TN, or VA.
