No, it never gets inside the car unless you have your doors or windows open, but it only happens around twice a year. We are sand free here in Lebanon hehe. If you live somewhere in the gulf areas, now that's different.

I've been wondering that as well...since people keep telling me power washers ruin the paint etc. I use power washer all the time, car still as shiny as ever. After I wasH it that is.

And the passenger can hardly see it. It's a nice, clean look. I just used 3m molding tape, so I can move it if I really want to.

I did drill a hole on the backside of the speedo panel to run the wires down through.

I just hated the brackets. I'd like to fab up or find something that houses the tach, but it's not too important to me right now.

makes sense...my roommate and i were just throwing around the idea of making a fiberglass housing for both the tach and scangauge...eventually
