Mike, I used a faux black suede that's rated to be able to withstand being in direct sunlight for an entire day.

I just got a phone call from a very close friend of mine, he and his wife just had their first baby! I'm so happy for them!!

Glad to hear that about your friend

Was it easy to work with and not too thick and do you have any pics yet. I've passed up the idea of the suede and am going to keep the same fabric, but just pull it and the seat fabric covers (seperate the foam) and dye them black. It's all more or less dark blue, not true black right now and it bothers me a bit. But all black and black dots, it will look ok and save some money in the long run

Mike, the foam and the fabric are nearly fused together, it would take hours just to carefully seperate the foam from one door panel. it took me like fifteen to twenty minutes to peel back the fabric from the door panels (each door) and even when being extremely careful, some of the foam still stuck to the plastic of the doors.
