Now, if you'll all excuse me for a bit, I must get back to celebrating this enormous, historic, and barrier-shattering win by our 44th President, Barack Obama. After 8 excruciating Bush years (worst President in American history) I am truly overjoyed. A dark cloud has been lifted, and January 20th can't get here fast enough! Let's celebrate! Let's party!
Dude we get it he won. YEHAW! WOOP WOOP! HURAY! Now go back from wence you came and please be quiet. Thanks in advance for your racist, skewed, and screwed comments ceasing. Have a nice day, and remember that Jesus love you.

I'm willing to guess Obama would rather NOT have you on his side. Really.

Really? I'm not so sure about that, dear. I sent the Obama a significant amount of money during the course of the campaign, as did many other Americans who knew we could not allow four more years of Bush/Cheney/McCain to continue. Because of generous donations, he was able to blitz the airwaves with his message of change, which deeply resonated with the American people.

I think he does like having me on his side. Really.

well that already happens even if she isn't President. Look at all the attacks on Palin. No way in hell you are telling me she wasn't picked on by media

I wonder if it's because the nominee for Vice President of the United States of America could not name one single Supreme Court decision in history, other than Roe v. Wade....

And to this day, I'm still waiting to here this message of change. He'll end up sourounding himself with qualified members and get a few things done, but his input in the long run will do greater harm that good. If I'm wrong, we'll see and I hope for the best, but from what I've learned and from what I have not seen from him, I'm pretty sure it will be no Reagan turn for the better

Society seems to think so. If the president were female, how would you feel if she was mocked and made fun of?

I'd chuckle just as hard as if it were good ole Bush.

I think we will see a female president in our lifetime and yes she will be the brunt of the jokes.

This has to be the highest amount of money ever spent on a election. It resulted in a win for the Democrats. They have come a long way to buy things since the days when Clinton did most of his election by bus and had the same result.

To this day?? Err, he does not get sworn into office until 1/20/09. If you hope for the best for him, and for the country, would you consider giving him at least a lil' bit of a chance, or have you already decided his Presidency will be an awful one? If you want this country to succeed, you will want this new President to succeed.

I sincerely hope Obama is NOT like Reagan, and I do not think he will be.

I've had no place for predjudice in my life for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid in Colorado I was surronded by hispanics, moved to Louisiana and went to school with black kids, and so on. The only thing I can't stand more than a biggot is a "reverse biggot" that feels I owe them something for a policy that ended a 150 years ago. Get the fuck over it, stop looking at the differances an let see what we might have in common.

Nobody has a CLUE as to how Obama will REALLY be. Nope, not even Bobby

Of course I don't, Brainy. I have no crystal ball, but how could I possibly have cast my ballot for a man who voted with the Bush administration over 90% of the time?

We never know how a President is "REALLY" going to be, (could anyone have imagined that Bush would have been as bad as he has been?) but you vote for the person who you feel is most intelligent, and will be best for the country. What else can you do?

Reagan lifted the USA out of a recession and got immediate freedom for the Iran hostages very very quickly upon taking office. Reagan did a great job as president and I hope Obama can do the same.

During Ronnie's term, the greatest divide between the very rich and the very poor occured. Sadly, Ronnie had Alzheimer's for the last several years of his Presidency. He stunk.
