This is my favorite dog in the whole world. She comes to work with me every day and her name is Shanty. She's a rescue dog and she's German Shepard and Chow.

Fritz the gray cat, Shelby is the Calco cat in the picture with me. The other cats were outside at the time.

So sorry to hear about Tessa, I know how it feels to lose them. I was wondering how much do bulldogs eat, I'd love to get one but am scared it will eat me out of house and home.lol

Losing Tessa was definitely one of the most devasting things that has ever happened to me.

The bulldogs don't eat that much. I feed them 3 cups each per day. You do have to use a good quality food though. Lamb and rice, chicken and rice, or catfish and potato. They don't do well with too many fillers, especially corn and soy. Plays havoc with their skin. Some are very sensitive, especially the white ones like Jessie.

I have a 13 year old Rat Terrier, he's starting to really show his age, shakes a lot, moves really slowly. I cry just thinking about not having him anymore because he means so much to me. All I can do is love him and make the most of the time he has left. My heart really goes out to you for losing Tessa. I'm kind of afraid to start over with a new pet, it hurts so much. I'm sorry to bring you down but it really helped to talk to someone who feels the same way, thanks.

I love this thread! I work at a specialty veterinary hospital, so I am obviously an animal lover. I'd have a ton of dogs if my place would allow it, but I got my lil' Chihuahua. He's got a form of secondary epilepsy and he's a bratmonster but he's my love.

doesn't he know he's eating that thing backwards? I use to have two snakes when I was younger. A ball python and an albino king snake.

These chihuahuas are cute as hell, my mom has a long haired chihuahua that looks just like a fat squirrel. I think they said she is an "apple head chihuahua", what ever that is, I don't know.I meant to include yours too UltravioletAngel but it didn't show up.

You should see me when I take her for a walk, I'm 6'8" and she's pretty small (6.5lbs) so it's a pretty funny sight haha

I lived with someone a few years back who had eight dogs, two birds and four cats. I'm "petted out" for a long while.

The word was "shit". They generated pounds of it each day.

Guys, if you meet a lady who has lots of pets, take the hint and run like hell!
