First of all, water should have NEVER seen the bulb/headlight housing! Something was installed wrong, or your friend didnt take the time to re-install the factory dust/water boot.

What kit are you using? If you are running a D2S or D2R bulb, surely you have an H4 to D2 adapter inside your housing??? If not, you got one hokey install my friend.

You never got back to my PM about the install, but I guess you won't be needing it now anyway.

Let me know if you need any help, getting a good set of plug and play HIDs for your setup.
