2007 hatchback
dark gray
128.000 Km = 79.546 miles
multimode transmission.

problems: oxygen sensor, plastic parts dried out and fall.
squeeky plastic under wipers (with rubber bands between the window and the engine. constantly needed to oil the window tracks with cillicone oil. some leackage at the rear window when raining.
rear pistons that elevating the rear door are not elevationg untill the end.
some more but its enogh...
the positive its that i did so many miles and i didnt have to change the rear brakes. (stand in the manufacture standarts and annual licening).
the front brake pads i change 3 times. and one time the plates.

after 6 months = alternator light just flickering , no fix ,
kept it like that , first series 2007 , fault in regulator ,

Decided to finally replace my original spark plugs today even though the car still starts and runs like new. 132,000 miles on them and the mechanic looked at them and showed me and they were still looking good! Not much wear. Could've gone 10's of thousands of miles more. Either way, I got new NGK iridium plugs good for at least another 100K. The originals were Denso's.

'09 blazing blue hatch. 90k+ miles. Replaced the tires and the battery. Had to replace driver's side axle seal. Part cost $11, but dealership quoted $900+ to put it in. Did it myself. Oh - put on a new serpentine belt. Old one was looking a bit cracked.

Got a 2009 sedan/auto with 87,000+miles and climbing. Water pump went south @ 75,000, but overall, a great little car.

I hit the 100,000 mile mark on 2/16. Hope to put another 100,000 in the coming years.

3/29/14 -- I thought my first air filter change was at 131,000 + miles, but I noticed in my log book that the first change was at 74,000 + miles. Given this, I'm now somewhat around 'my average' re miles on a filter (replaced at 74k +, 131k + and 208k +)....so I'll probably buy a new air filter next week (now closed for the rest of the weekend, IIRC) at a Toyota dealer and swap it with the old one.

I was flipping the radio dial early this afternon and happened upon a local car maintenance show in the middle of a call. I didn't hear what type of car it was or what was wrong (that came before I tuned in). I did hear that she had purchased the car used with 69k miles on it (which they later said was very low for that car for that model year). One of the hosts asked if the car had been sitting outside for a long time. She said it had. The most experienced host said the air filter may need to be changed. He said (in the thickest local accent you can imagine) if that doesn't work then the impediment might be "a varmint's nest" . I just about fell over laughing. So authentically himself...and knows his stuff. I truly love this state . This little slice of life reminded me that I decided a couple of weeks ago to (in the near future) change the air filter in my Yaris. I stopped by Fred Haas Toyota later in the day (filter was under $22 including tax...same price as the last one, IIRC). So.....

at 277,668 miles ---- Installed new air filter (cost to install = zero....I didn't charge myself )

'08 Yaris hatch, manual, 130K miles, motor mounts went out, replaced all myself - cost about $200 in parts.

Also replaced an axle (just to replace a CV boot/bearings) at around 115K.

07 Yaris Hatchback, 5-speed manual, 85k miles

36-39mpg 30% city 70% freeway

No issues so far, sometimes cranking may take a couple seconds longer than usual.
