Like Thanksgiving...when do other countries celebrate Thanksgiving? In Canada our Thanksgiving is the 2nd Monday in October. The Americans celebrate theirs the last Thursday in November (Happy Thanksgiving to our American friends!!). What does England or Thailand do...do you even celebrate Thanksgiving?

I don't think any other places celebrate Thanksgiving... Though Halloween has now become more of an international thing, but that's just because businesses don't want to pass up the great opportunity for sales...

Although Thailand is a Buddhist country, they sorta celebrate Christmas (well, the non-religious aspect of it anyway), as it's just another reason to have some fun

The world is getting smaller, there's no denying it...

Over here, vacation and holiday mean the same thing, so I use vacation and holiday interchangeably. I'm less likely to use the term vacation though.

Anyway, I'm missing the rear doors. We don't have 3dr LBs in Asia. I'm used to putting stuff on the back seats, like my camera gear, but now find that I have to reach around the driver's seat in order to place anything in the back..

If you are on the north side of Brisbane and want to see an Echo rally car being built, and chew the fat over serious performance modifications , shoot me a pm.

If anyone ever drops by Brisbane, give the Mt Nebo/Mt Glorious road a punt. I used to think it was pretty good with my Corolla, but its a lot more fun with the Yaris, and I was keeping to the 80kph speed limits all the time.

I loved the constantly changing gradient and the flow of the bends, but watch for the drops as there aren't any guardrails.

Pics!

That's our rental, all 1.3 litres and 80hp of it. I managed to get nearly 500 miles for a tank despite caning it most of the time due to lack of power. (and that's not me in the photo)

Digital dashboard. I tried unsuccessfully to find one at wrecking yards.

Fun times.
