That's not an antenna. Helps you see where the curb is on the passe get side, or guide you how far you are from another car.

Also notice it's RHD.

Right, it looks and almost acts like a power antenna (if it's the retractable version).
I noticed it in a lot of cars from Japan, albeit on the left side (opposite their driver, same side as ours), and they would then have a switch on the console labelled "POLE" to control this 'power antenna' Civic VTEC enthusiasts/ricers know this. LOL

Currently the front is rubbing so I had to raise it back up but other than that it handles and rides smooth!!

Oh, I ended up just replacing my headlights. I would polish it, and a week later it's fuzzy again.
